Life List Poster
Every bird you’ve ever seen, cut out and pinned to one page. Drop in your eBird export and it builds a printable, field-guide style poster of your whole life list, right here in your browser. Free, and your data never leaves your device.
How it works
- 01
Export your life list
eBird → Download My Data. Drop the .zip they email you below; it’s read right on your device.
- 02
Find a photo for every bird
Each species gets the top-rated Creative Commons photo from iNaturalist, with the photographer credited.
- 03
Cut them out
A background-removal model clips every bird out of its photo ahead of time, so they float on the page like a field-guide plate.
- 04
Lay out the poster
Birds are packed densely onto a cream page and labelled in serif type. Tap your favorites to draw them bigger.

How do I get my eBird export?
- Go to ebird.org/downloadMyData and sign in.
- Click Submit. eBird emails you a download link, usually within a few minutes.
- Download the .zip and drop it right here. No need to unzip it.
Use Merlin? Your Merlin sightings are already in eBird, so the same export works.
Make it yours
Tap any bird to resize it, pick a different photo, or use your own. Birds marked Finn use my own photos.
